Scott O'Neal
Scott ONeil loves the standards!
He says I have had the privilege of playing and enjoying the Great American Songbook, and great stars, my entire radio career.
From his broadcasting origins in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he started on WRAL-TV, Channel 5, he joined the Air Force for a four year stretch in Armed Forces Radio & TV. After moving to Los Angeles to work for CBS, Scott attended UCLA as a journalism major before joining the legendary KGIL-AM 1260 in 1969.
During his thirty years in Los Angeles, Scott was on the air for 20 years on Gene Autrys flagship station for Golden West Broadcasters AM 710 KMPC, alongside such broadcasting legends as Chuck Southcott, Gary Owens and Wink Martindale. He worked as an announcer for the CBS Television network and KTLA channel 5, Tribune Broadcasting as well as serving as a national commercial voice-over artist and TV spokesman.
Scott ONeil was the show announcer on the CBS Television networks Bobby Goldsboro Show', and is remembered as the voice of the wacky commercials on the classic TV comedy WKRP in Cincinnati.
In 1996, Scott moved to Las Vegas to retire, but discovered he still loved to work in broadcasting. He became the morning personality, playing the great standards, on KJUL-FM 104.3 where he earned the NABs 2005 Marconi award for Adult Standards Station of the Year.
Since moving to Las Vegas, Scott has been spokesman for several of Nevadas finest businesses. When hes not on the air, youll usually find Scott on the golf course, riding his Harley, or participating in a community charity event.
Scott says, "I love this city. Las Vegas is the entertainment capital of the world. So many of the great standards artists have homes, and perform here. Theres always something exciting and new, yet it has the feel of a small town. People here really care about each other, and our community."

Karl Hampton / Southcott
Karl Southcott was born into a radio family. It didn't take him too long to embrace the world of radio himself and has been working in the business since 1981. Early on, he was a producer for the nationally syndicated Bill Balance Show and a sound man and voice-over talent on various television productions.
For 12 years Karl served as Operations Manager for the Music Of Your Life at Jones Radio Networks. As Operations Manager and morning host, Karl was instrumental in MOYL's success. With the hands-on approach he takes to develop and maintain relationships with affiliates, Karl helped to expand MOYL's station count from six to well over 170 affiliates nationwide in a short time. Under his watch, the format was heard in major markets including Washington DC, Sacramento, Los Angeles and Seattle among others.
Since early in 2007, Karl has been an integral on-air member of two highly rated AC station morning show teams for Entercom in Denver, KOSI-101 and Alice 105-9.
Karl's love of the greatest music ever made has spanned his life. He's enjoyed presenting our kind of music nationally, and it's been a thrill for him every step of the way for years. Known on the air as Carl Hampton, his upbeat and conversational approach to playing standards is contagious.
Enjoy spending time with Karl each weekday afternoon as he plays the finest music ever recorded.
